About the challenge

On January 24th, 2011, members of Crossfit Capitol Hill unknowingly started a 7 week paleo challenge. Day 1 was quickly followed by a lot of 'wtf's and 'yeeaah.. this isn't for me'. This blog was created on a whim to field everyones questions, assure them that they would survive and not starve, and hopefully become a central location for recipes and advice.

You are not alone!

I am not a doctor, a nutritionist, a dietician, a geneticist, etc. I am passionate about eating well and eating good food that adheres to the paleo lifestyle. I encourage everyone to do their own research if they find something they question or don't agree with as these ramblings are a little biased towards "meat = good; grains = bad; sugar = devil"
